Harv Selsby (born 29 December 1938; age 85) is a former actor who appeared as a guard in the Star Trek: The Original Series third season episode "The Cloud Minders". He filmed his scene on Thursday 14 November 1968 at Paramount Stage 5.
Selsby's Star Trek role was followed by featured roles in the television series Search (1972, with James Gregory and Abraham Sofaer) and Shaft (1973, with Barbara Babcock), the drama Norma (1970), Sweet Kill (1973), and Cleopatra Jones (1973, with Bernie Casey and Nick Dimitri).
Between 1974 and 1975, Selsby had a recurring role as a resident in the drama series Medical Center alongside Barbara Baldavin and guest actress Meg Foster. Further credits include Wonder Woman (1977, with Frank Gorshin and John Rubinstein), Starsky & Hutch (1978, with David Soul and Susan French), ABC Afterschool Specials (1978, with Phillip Richard Allen), two episodes of Fantasy Island (1978, starring Ricardo Montalban and with Samantha Eggar and France Nuyen in the latter one), and the television drama Sergeant Matlovich vs. the U.S. Air Force (1978, with Brad Dourif, Steven Anderson, Gavan O'Herlihy, William Wintersole, Mitchell Ryan, David Ogden Stiers, and David Spielberg).
During the early 1980s include the television comedy Valentine Magic on Love Island (1980, with Adrienne Barbeau and Warren Munson) and guest roles in the television series CHiPs (1980 and 1981, alongside Robert Pine, Ellen Geer, and William Lucking), Trapper John, M.D. (1980), and The Love Boat (1982).
More recently, Selsby served as contestant producer on the game show On the Cover (2004-2006).
