Hawaiian (left)

Hawaiian language was a Polynesian language associated with the culture of Hawaii on Earth.

The Hawaiian term "aloha" was one of the greeting words found among the standard greeting sent from Earth in 1996 by Rain Robinson, upon the detection of a unidentified craft in orbit. (VOY: "Future's End")

A bottle of sand kept by Airiam in her quarters on USS Discovery was labeled with the words "Aloha" and "Hawaii". (DIS: "Project Daedalus")

During a holographic luau held on Voyager in 2373, a hostess greeted guests with the Hawaiian greeting "aloha". (VOY: "Alter Ego")

Another Hawaiin term was "ohana", which meant "family". (LD: "wej Duj")
