Hazel Keats (3 January 1904 – 23 August 1970; age 66) was the hair stylist for the Star Trek: The Original Series first season episode "Where No Man Has Gone Before".
Keats worked as hair stylist and hairdresser on several movies during the 1940s, 1950s, and 1960s.
Among her productions in the late 1940s were The Untamed Breed (1948), Blondie's Big Deal, The Walking Hills, and Horsemen of the Sierras (1949).
She continued in the first part of the 1950s with Lady in the Iron Mask and Park Row (1952), The Miami Story and The Law vs. Billy the Kid (1954), The Long Gray Line, Duel on the Mississippi (with Celia Lovsky) and The Man with the Golden Arm (1955). In the later part of the decade she worked on The Houston Story (1956), Escape from San Quentin (1957), Crash Landing (with Celia Lovsky), Life Begins at 17 (1958), and The Tingler (1959).
In 1960 she worked on 13 Ghosts, her final credit before Star Trek.
