The Helaspont Nebula was a nebula located near the Federation-Tzenkethi border. At maximum warp, It was twenty hours away from Barisa Prime.
In late 2371, the USS Ulysses, under the command of Captain Entebe, was studying protoplanetary masses in this nebula. (DS9: "The Adversary")
This nebula was only mentioned in dialogue.
According to the script of "The Adversary", Helaspont was pronounced as "HEL-uh-spont". [1]
According to Star Trek: Star Charts ("United Federation of Planets I") and Stellar Cartography: The Starfleet Reference Library ("Federation Historical Highlights, 2161-2385"), this nebula was located in the Alpha Quadrant.
