Helen Pollak is a producer and production manager who worked with Stewart Bethune as Production Manager on Star Trek Beyond. [1]

Pollak started her career in the entertainment industry in the 1980s when she worked as executive assistant on The River Rat (1984), as wardrober on Nobody's Fool (1986, with Louise Fletcher), and as assistant to costume designer Jeffrey Kurland on Revenge of the Nerds II: Nerds in Paradise (1987, with Ed Lauter, James Cromwell, and Raymond Forchion, and cinematography by Charles Correll).

In 1989, she worked as unit production manager and associate producer on Miss Firecracker, starring Holly Hunter, with Alfre Woodard, Bert Remsen, and Brent Spiner. The following year, she worked as line producer on The End of Innocence, with George Coe and Madge Sinclair.

During the following years, Pollak worked as unit production manager/production manager on projects such as The Doors (1991), Other People's Money (1991), The Bodyguard (1992, with Bill Cobbs and Mike Starr), North (1994, with Jason Alexander), Head Above Water (1996, with Shay Duffin) on which she also worked as co-producer, Conspiracy Theory (1997, starring Patrick Stewart), Brokedown Palace (1999, with Jacqueline Kim), Fight Club (1999), What Women Want (2000), Something's Gotta Give (2003), The Curious Case of Benjamin Button (2008), G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra (2009, with Rachel Nichols), and It's Complicated (2009).

She later worked as production manager and associate producer on Katy Perry: Part of Me (2012, casting by Barbara Harris), and as production manager on Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014, produced by and featuring Stan Lee, with Alan Dale, Zack Duhame, Pat Healy, Steven Culp, Cullen Chambers, and Darryl Stewart).
