Earth's eastern hemisphere.

A hemisphere was one half of a planet or similar circular bodies, either divided into a northern and southern or eastern and western hemisphere.

Tidal locking caused one hemisphere of a planet to be constantly dark and the other to be constanly light. On Daled IV, this caused the two hemispheres to develop very different cultures. (TNG: "The Dauphin")

On Earth, North America was located in the western and northern hemisphere. (Star Trek: First Contact; VOY: "Future's End")

On Rakhar, Nehelik Province was situated in the southern hemisphere. (DS9: "Vortex")

The settlement on Meridian was located in the southern hemisphere. (DS9: "Meridian")

On Kelemane's planet, the Central Protectorate was situated on a subcontinent in the southern hemisphere. (VOY: "Blink of an Eye")

The Human colony on Terra Nova was located in the northern hemisphere. When the planet was hit by an asteroid in 2083, the entire hemisphere was covered by a radioactive debris cloud. However, the southern hemisphere was unaffected, so the colony was relocated there in 2151. (ENT: "Terra Nova")

The monastery at P'Jem was located on the northern hemisphere of its planet. (ENT: "The Andorian Incident")

A planet surveyed by the Enterprise in 2152 featured a chain of volcanoes across an entire hemisphere. (ENT: "Minefield")

Shortly before completion of the Xindi weapon in 2154, a shuttle from the Enterprise detected a lot of activity on its right lower hemisphere. (ENT: "Azati Prime")

By 2154, two of three population centers of the Qu'Vat Colony were situated in the southern hemisphere and the other in the northern one. Thar year, the augments led by Malik attempted to detonate a torpedo over the southern hemisphere to deploy a biogenic weapon. (ENT: "The Augments")

In 2268, a landing party from the USS Enterprise explored a hemisphere of Argus X during the local growing season. (TOS: "Obsession")

The USS Jenolan crashed on the northern hemisphere of a Dyson sphere in 2294. (TNG: "Relics")

In 2371, crewmembers of the USS Voyager were scattered throughout both hemispheres of Sikaris during shore leave. (VOY: "Prime Factors")

The same year, Voyager received a SOS from a continent in the northern hemisphere of a planet, later discovered to originate from Amelia Earhart's airplane. (VOY: "The 37's")

In 2373, Klingon troops captured two settlements in the northern hemisphere during the Battle of Ajilon Prime. (DS9: "Nor the Battle to the Strong")

In 2375, the Delta Flyer crashed in the northern hemisphere of a planetoid. (VOY: "Once Upon a Time")

In 2377, the Voyager identified two potential colony sites in the southern hemisphere of a planet for a group of Klingons, stranded in the Delta Quadrant. (VOY: "Prophecy")
