Historical Bozeman
Historical Bozeman was a theme park located at the launch site of the prototype warp ship Phoenix in Bozeman, Montana.
There were a number of attractions at the park that mimicked the era of Post-World War III, including a playground fixture that resembled the original Vulcan ship. The most well-known attraction was Ride the Phoenix, which allowed people to ride in replicas of the Phoenix that were "piloted" by a hologram of Doctor Zefram Cochrane. (LD: "Grounded")
Attractions[]
The Phoenix ride logo
- Concessions: A number of stands offered food, such as salmon and churros. One concession stand, Thirst Contact, sold soft drinks.
- Replicas of Zefram's hat were available.
- Historical reenactors
- First Contact Fun Zone: A playground resembling the T'Plana-Hath, with swings and a slide
- Crash-n-Burn Bar: The townsfolk used to hang out here, and the jukebox apparently only played one song.
- Tee Trek: A shop for acquiring t-shirts.
- Ride the Phoenix: A ride allowing people who were at least one hundred centimeters tall to ride one of at least five replicas of the Phoenix into orbit, and experience warp flight
- Zefram Cochrane's statue: A statue of Cochrane, with his hand reaching out toward the heavens, was erected before 2152.
History[]
At some point before or during 2381, Chief Petty Officer Carlton Dennis visited the park, and greatly enjoyed it.
In 2381, Ensigns Beckett Mariner, Brad Boimler, Sam Rutherford, and D'Vana Tendi visited Historical Bozeman so they could hijack the Phoenix ride to get to the spacedock where the USS Cerritos was stationed. (LD: "Grounded")
