The Doctor and the holophotography camera

Holophotography dates back to the 23rd century, but the quality of imaging was considered inferior to the pictures taken by 24th century holophotographers. (VOY: "Flashback") These images were capable of being projected three-dimensionally, such as in Starfleet's security file of General Korrd. (Star Trek V: The Final Frontier)

In 2371, Quark attempted to take a holopicture of Kira Nerys so he could implement her physical appearance in a holoprogram for one of his customers, Tiron. When the Major saw him take the pictures, she told him if he ever tried to do so again, she would force him to eat his holo-imager. (DS9: "Meridian")

Al Lorenzo, who was chief of operations on Decos Prime in 2375, liked to collect holophotos of himself sitting behind various captains' desks. He once traded an induction modulator to Nog for the loan of Captain Sisko's desk so he could take a holophoto of himself sitting behind it. (DS9: "Treachery, Faith and the Great River")

Chakotay took a holophotograph of Species 8472 "Boothby" and himself while performing reconnaissance. (VOY: "In the Flesh")

USS Voyager kept holograms detailing the entire physiology of crewmembers in their medical records. (VOY: "Latent Image")

The Doctor took up holophotography as a hobby and took a picture of Lewis Zimmerman and himself as a memento of their reunion. (VOY: "Life Line")
