Holographic programming was the programming of holograms and holographic programs.
The Doctor was adept in the art of holographic programming. In approximately 3074, to counter the Museum of Kyrian Heritage's incorrect historical depiction of the USS Voyager in The Voyager Encounter, The Doctor's backup module created his own simulation about the events leading up to the Kyrian-Vaskan Great War, to reveal the truth of what happened roughly 700 years before.
