Hubie Kerns, Sr. (10 August 19207 February 1999; age 78) was a stuntman, stunt coordinator, occasional actor and producer, who appeared as a Klingon crewman in the Star Trek: The Original Series third season episode "Day of the Dove". He is also the father of Trek stuntman Hubie Kerns, Jr.

During his long career in Hollywood, Kerns performed stunts in a large number of feature films and a few television series. He is probably best known as the stunt double for Adam West in the 1966-68 Batman television series, alongside his "Day of the Dove" co-performer Victor Paul, who performed stunts for Burt Ward (Robin). They also appeared together in the 1966 movie version of Batman, which also featured Lee Meriwether, Frank Gorshin, Gil Perkins, Dick Crockett, George Sawaya, Eddie Hice, and Charles Picerni.

Kerns also appeared in movies such as The Ten Commandments (1956, with Dame Judith Anderson, Larry Dobkin, Michael Ansara, Robert Herron, and Carl Saxe), The Buccaneer (1958, with Steve Marlo, Majel Barrett, David Armstrong, Fred Carson, Bill Erwin, Loren Janes, Gil Perkins, and Carl Saxe), The Boston Strangler (1968, with Jeff Corey, Sally Kellerman, William Marshall, and Chuck Hicks, and cinematography by Richard H. Kline), Beneath the Planet of the Apes (1970, with James Gregory and Jeff Corey, and music by Leonard Rosenman), Conquest of the Planet of the Apes (1972, with Ricardo Montalban, Lou Wagner, and Paul Comi) and Battle for the Planet of the Apes (1973, with Paul Williams, France Nuyen, and David Gerrold, cinematography by Richard H. Kline, and music by Leonard Rosenman). Paul Stader served as stunt coordinator on all the aforementioned Apes films.
