Immunosuppressants were a type of drug used to limit the response of the immune system in humanoids.
In 2367, Dr. Beverly Crusher administered an immunosuppressant to William T. Riker to help his body accept the Odan symbiont and to combat the symptoms of rejection. (TNG: "The Host")
