Ivor Prime was the inhabited prime planet in the Ivor system of the Beta Quadrant, and it was home to a Federation colony.
In 2373, the colony was destroyed by a Borg cube en route to Earth, as part of another attempt at an invasion of the Federation. Deep Space 5 informed Vice Admiral Hayes of the colony's fate, who then passed on the news to Captain Jean-Luc Picard on the USS Enterprise-E in 2373. (Star Trek: First Contact)
