J. Adam Brown (born 3 March 1983; age 42) is an actor who played Fred in the Star Trek: Discovery fifth season episode "Red Directive".
In 2002, Brown appeared in a recurring role as Wade in Manny Coto's Odyssey 5, alongside Peter Weller, Leslie Silva, Kenneth Mitchell, Lindy Booth, Conrad Pla, Tig Fong, and Andrea Davis, directed by David Carson and David Straiton.
He also made guest appearances in episodes of series such as Sue Thomas: F.B.Eye, Little Mosque on the Prairie (starring Derek McGrath and Sheila McCarthy), Degrassi: The Next Generation, Republic of Doyle, Rookie Blue (starring Rachael Ancheril, with Daniel Kash), The Expanse (with Shawn Doyle, Shohreh Aghdashloo, Nick E.
