JAG 3802725A was the designation for a radio wave emitted by a neutron star near the Verubin Nebula. With its frequency at 5.75 kilohertz, it had the lowest known frequency of those traveling through the nebula.

In 3189, an engineering team aboard the USS Discovery detected a signal coming from the center of the Verubin Nebula. Magnetic interference caused by the nebula's unstable electromagentic fields distorted the signal. To clean up the signal, Captain Saru selected this low frequency radio wave, for which it could be used by the team for modeling "the effects of the distortion in order to isolate the original signal". This successful effort revealed the signal as a Federation distress call, possibly from a ship. (DIS: "The Sanctuary")
