Jamie Arias is a dancer, choreographer, singer, artist and instructor who worked with his wife Gail Arias as choreographer for the dance segment of Robert Picardo and Susan Diol in the Star Trek: Voyager second season episode "Lifesigns". He was on set Wednesday 3 January 1996 and Thursday 4 January 1996 at Paramount Stage 16.

Jamie Arias was the choreographer and principal Salsa dancer on "Walker Texas Ranger" starring Nia Peeples, assistant choreographer and principal dancer on the music drama Shout (1991, starring John Travolta with Sam Hennings and choreographer Michelle Johnston), appeared in the film The Mambo Kings starring Antonio Banderas and Armand Assante' (1992, with Jonathan del Arco and Susie Stillwell), principal dancer in "Mountain Dew" commercial with Patrick Swayze, "E" Entertainment feature as top choreography for Soul Train Music Awards starring Monica, "E" Entertainment starring Brian Setzer featuring Jamie and Gail as Principal Dancers. Television series Nip/Tuck starring Carrie-Anne Moss The Young and the Restless, Principal Dancer and Choreographer on MTV for the Steve Miller Band, Principal Tango dancer and choreographer in the film "Walking the Edge" starring Robert Forrester, Principal Dancer and Choreographer for Rich King Productions, Beverly Hills, Ca., Principal Dancer and Choreographer in "Nights in Vienna" 2004, Producer, Dancer, Choreographer for World Class Productions World Tour 2000-2012.

He became a "Dance Fever" television show champion, was among the Star Search dance finalists, International Dance Competitor and Choreographer in Cabaret and Precision Dance Team Division, and was a finalist in the US Open Dance Championships Showcase Swing, Cabaret and Dance Team Division between '85 – '96. In 1994 and 1995 he received the "Feather Award" for the United States Top Showcase Dance Couple with his wife Gail. Won First place in the Aerial Division of the World Swing Dance Championship in '94, 1st place Dance Championships in ’95, In ’98 Jamie Arias was inducted into the Swing Dance Hall of Fame, and awarded 1st place Mr. US International 1999 in Texas.

He was featured in print ads and articles for Digital Journal, L.A. Times, American Patriot, COSI Magazine, and Dance Action Magazine.
