John "Jay" Devlin (8 May 1929–9 November 2014; age 85) worked as First Company Grip on Star Trek: Enterprise and the video game Star Trek: Borg. For most of his Trek work he received no screen credit but was listed on the call sheets of the episodes. His name, in the form of J. Devlin, appeared as an in-joke on the Enterprise (NX-01) dedication plaque.
He previously worked as second company grip on Forrest Gump in 1994 with John Gazdik, Robert Hill, John Manocchia, Scott Mayhugh, Pat Turner, Frank X. Valdez III, Patric J. Abaravich, Mark Gutterud, Richard Kelley, and Troy Kohrs.
