Jeannie and John Kelly

A picture of Jeannie and John

Jeannie Kelly was a Human woman of the early-21st century, and wife to John Kelly.

Her husband promised to bring her back a "Mars rock" from his mission on the Ares IV, but unfortunately the ship was engulfed by a graviton ellipse. He was presumed dead upon contact.

Unknown to Jeannie or the ISA, he had survived for several more days. In 2376, the USS Voyager and Seven of Nine found the Ares IV module inside the ellipse, and watched his mission records. In them, he apologized to Jeannie for not being able to bring her that Mars rock, and kept a photograph of her next to his console until the end. (VOY: "One Small Step")
