The Jem'Hadar rank system was based on a simple numerical ranking of soldiers in a given unit.

First[]

Goran'Agar

First Goran'Agar

First (β) was the highest rank a Jem'Hadar could achieve. The first was typically only responsible to the Founders and his Vorta commander, and was responsible for disciplining the other Jem'Hadar under his command. Aboard Dominion warships, the first was the only Jem'Hadar who wore a virtual sensory display. The first was also the only known Jem'Hadar rank who was permitted to operate the ketracel-white dispensers if no Vorta was available.

Second[]

Toman'torax

Second Toman'torax

Second was the rank given to a Jem'Hadar soldier who was second in command of his unit.

Third[]

Remata'Klan

Third Remata'klan

Third was the rank given to a Jem'Hadar soldier who was third in command of his unit.

Fourth[]

Virak'kara

Fourth Virak'kara

Fourth was the rank given to a Jem'Hadar soldier who was fourth in command of his unit.

Fifth[]

Fifth was the rank given to a Jem'Hadar soldier who was fifth in command of his unit.

No fifths were ever specified by name, only by rank. (DS9: "One Little Ship")

Sixth[]

Sixth was the rank given to a Jem'Hadar soldier who was sixth in command of his unit.

Seventh[]

Seventh was the rank given to a Jem'Hadar soldier who was seventh in command of his unit.

Honored elder[]

Ixtanarax

Honored Elder Inxtana'Rax

Though not an organizational or unit rank, Honored Elder (β) was the honorific title given to a Jem'Hadar who lived past the age of twenty. This was a rare occurrence, since most Jem'Hadar died in combat. (DS9: "To the Death")

The script for DS9: "In Purgatory's Shadow" states that Ikat'ika was an Honored Elder as well.
