Jerry Catron (22 February 193216 May 2017; age 85) [1] was an actor, director, and occasional stuntman who played Montgomery in two episodes of Star Trek: The Original Series. His first appearance was as a Denevan in "Operation -- Annihilate!". He filmed his scene for "Operation -- Annihilate!" on Wednesday 15 February 1967 on location at the TRW Space and Defense Park in Redondo Beach, California and his scene for "The Doomsday Machine" on Thursday 22 June 1967 at Desilu Stage 9. He also made an uncredited appearance, later the same season, in "Journey to Babel".

He made several appearances in season three of Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea and appeared in television series such as The Twilight Zone, Burke's Law, Bewitched, Batman, and Gunsmoke.

His stunt and stunt acting resume also includes films such as Goodbye Charlie (1964, with Roger C. Carmel), The Great Race (1965, with Robert Herron and Clegg Hoyt), and Point Blank (1967, with James B. Sikking, Sharon Acker, and Chuck Hicks).
