Jesse Alexander is a screenwriter and producer who served as Co-Executive Producer on the first episode of Star Trek: Discovery, "The Vulcan Hello". He also co-wrote two episodes of Discovery's first season, "The Butcher's Knife Cares Not for the Lamb's Cry" and "Magic to Make the Sanest Man Go Mad" (both with Aron Eli Coleite).
In May 2016, then Showrunner Bryan Fuller tweeted a photo of Alexander dressed as a redshirt during pre-production. [1]
He was previously executive producer with Fuller on NBC's Hannibal, co-executive producer on J.J. Abrams and Damon Lindelof's Lost, and writer and producer on Alias, also created by Abrams.
