Jessica Lauren Richmond is actress, writer and director, who played a "flirty" Starfleet cadet in Star Trek.

Born in California, Richmond graduated from the Boston University College Fine Arts' School of Theater with a BFA in Theater in 2007. She also trained at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts. In addition to acting, she is skilled in various forms of dance as well as voiceover, improvisation, sign language, cycling, and swimming.

She has appeared on two television shows produced by CBS Paramount Network Television. The first was Girlfriends, starring Star Trek: Enterprise guest actress Golden Brooks. This was followed by an appearance on The Game. In 2019, she wrote and directed the comedy series Baker's Dozen.
