James "Jim" M. Halty (born 5 December 1948; age 75) is a stuntman, stunt actor, stunt coordinator, and second unit director who served as stunt double for George Takei in Star Trek V: The Final Frontier and performed stunts in Star Trek III: The Search for Spock and Star Trek: First Contact. In Star Trek III: The Search for Spock he appeared as a San Francisco bar patron, identified by his costume which was sold off on the It's A Wrap! sale and auction on eBay. The name tag misspelled his name as Jim Holty. [1] His costume as Takei's stunt double was also sold off on eBay. [2]

Halty has also performed stunts in television series such as Dynasty (with Joan Collins), Rescue 911, Baywatch (1992), and The Office (2007).
