James "Jim" Samson is an assistant property master, set decorator and set dresser who worked on Star Trek: The Next Generation and Star Trek: Insurrection. On the latter one he was credited as Jim Sampson.
Samson worked in the art department of The Accidental Tourist (1988), Femme Fatale (1991), For Richer, for Poorer (1992), The Player (1992), the television movie The Witches of Eastwick (1992), The Fear Inside (1992), and The Positively True Adventures of the Alleged Texas Cheerleader-Murdering Mom (1993, starring Holly Hunter).
His credits as set decorator include Camp Nowhere (1994), A Friend to Die For (1994), the drama One Night Stand (1995), Dunston Checks In (1996, starring Jason Alexander), the television movie A Different Kind of Christmas (1996), Leaving L.A. (1997, with Cress Williams), Gods and Monsters (1998), and I'm Losing You (1998, starring Frank Langella).
