Jimmy Carter
James Earl "Jimmy" Carter, Jr. was a 20th century Human politician who served as President of the United States of America.
An image of him was among several historical images seen by Daniels and Archer in the time stream as the timeline reorganized itself. (ENT: "Storm Front, Part II")
He served as the 39th President from 1977 until 1981. Star Trek: The Motion Picture was released during his presidency.
The Star Trek: Deep Space Nine writers saw Federation President Jaresh-Inyo as being like Jimmy Carter, both good men, although not in conflict situations. (Star Trek: Deep Space Nine Companion, p. 299)
