John Boyer (16 October 1945 – 12 May 2012; age 66) is an actor who played a guard in the Star Trek: The Original Series episode "Turnabout Intruder".
He was married to actress Sharon Farrell and is the father of actor Chance Boyer.
Among his acting credits are the film Ski Party (1965, with Yvonne Craig and Dick Miller) and a guest appearance in the Gunsmoke episode The Goldtakers (1966).
