John DeMita (born 6 January 1959; age 61) is an actor and voice artist who played a Romulan officer in the Star Trek: The Next Generation sixth season episode "Timescape".

He has been married to voice actress Julia Fletcher since 1992 and they have two children. DeMita is also a teacher for theater arts at several colleges.

Among his on-screen acting credits are films such as Spellbinder (1988, with Anthony Crivello, Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa, Stefan Gierasch, Richard Fancy, and stunts by Doug Coleman and Melodee Spevack), Universal Soldier (1992, with Ed O'Ross, Leon Rippy, Lilyan Chauvin, Tanner Gill, Eddie Braun, Jophery C. Brown, Joel Kramer, Mirron E. Willis, and stunts by Gary Baxley, B.J. Davis, Vince Deadrick, Jr., and Peewee Piemonte), Leprechaun 3 (1995, with Marcelo Tubert), and Inherit the Wind (1999, with Brad Greenquist and Ronnie Claire Edwards), and television series such as Remington Steele (1985, with George Coe and Terry O'Quinn), Freddy's Nightmares (1988, with Susan Oliver), Matlock (1991, with David Froman, Eric Pierpoint, Constance Towers, Michael Durrell, Marcy Goldman, and Philip Weyland), L.A. Law (1993, with Corbin Bernsen, Larry Drake, Matthew Faison, and Stephen Root), Silk Stalkings (1997, with Charlie Brill and Jeremy Roberts), Sliders (1999, with Meg Foster and Nicholas Worth), CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (2004, with Tina Lifford, Nana Visitor, and Wallace Langham), and a recurring role in JAG (2001-2005).
