John Eric Bentley (born 31 August 1969; age 55) is the actor who appeared as a Klingon officer in the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine seventh season episode "Chimera". Bentley now has a recurring role on Hart of Dixie.

Bentley has also guest starred in The Steve Harvey Show, Martin, Chicago Hope, and The Jamie Foxx Show. After his appearance on Deep Space Nine, he was seen on 3rd Rock from the Sun (in an episode with Mimi Cozzens, Michael Ensign and Van Epperson), Becker (starring Terry Farrell), The Trouble with Normal (with Jim Beaver and Eugene Roche), V.I.P. (with Brian Thompson), That's Life (with Scarlett Pomers, Paul Sorvino, Don Stark, and Titus Welliver), The District (starring Roger Aaron Brown), The X-Files, Less Than Perfect (starring Andy Dick), Friends, CSI: Miami, JAG (with Scott Lawrence and Zoe McLellan), J.J. Abrams' Alias (with Erick Avari and Javier Grajeda), ER (with Daniel Dae Kim), Malcolm in the Middle (with Kenneth Mars and Holmes R. Bentley is also a voice artist and has voiced Nick Fury in the Iron Man 2 video game, Iron Man: Rise of Technovore, Avengers Confidential and Lego Marvel Super Heroes. Bentley also voiced characters in The Last of Us, Grand Theft Auto V, Saints Row: The Third, Saints Row IV, Deadpool, and Barret Wallace in Final Fantasy 7 Remake.
