Jurgens also played a Borg in the 3-D attraction "Borg Invasion 4D" for Star Trek: The Experience in 2004. Jurgens can also be seen in two deleted scenes. He was in the extended mess hall scene in the episode "Fallen Hero" and in the extended sickbay scene in the episode "Minefield". Among his acting resume are guest appearances in the television series Wednesday 9:30 (8:30 Central) (2002, starring Ed Begley, Jr. and guest starring Bonita Friedericy), Standoff (2006, directed by David Straiton), and In Case of Emergency (2007, with Leigh Allyn Baker, Garret Sato, Darin Cooper, and Loren Lester), and the horror film Pulse (2006, with Zach Grenier and Brad Dourif, and stunts by Danny Downey).

After wrapping Enterprise Jurgens has worked as a background actor and stand-in in television series such as Cold Case, Heroes, Gilmore Girls, Justice, and The O.C.. He also worked as photo double and stand-in for leading actor Zachary Levi on the action comedy series Chuck between 2007 and 2012. In addition, he was featured in the final episode of Chuck, titled "Chuck Versus the Goodbye" (2012, with Bonita Friedricy and Robert Duncan McNeill) and worked as photo double and stand-in for guest actors such as Brandon Routh.

More recently, he appeared in the short comedy The Money Shot (2012) and on Bryan Singer's television movie Mockingbird Lane (2012, with Pablo Espinosa and John Kassir) and worked on an episode of Dexter (2013) and as stand-in for Jim Parsons on an episode of The Big Bang Theory (2013).
