John Mahon (2 February 1938 – 3 May 2020; age 82), played Fleet Admiral Gardner in the Star Trek: Enterprise fourth season episode "In a Mirror, Darkly, Part II".

Mahon also guest-starred in Frasier (with Kelsey Grammer, James Gleason, and Joseph Will) and also appears in the films Armageddon, L.A. Confidential, Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me, and Zodiac.

He also appeared in Convicted: A Mother's Story (1987; with Randy Lowell, Lisa Chess, and Ron Soble).

Mahon died of natural causes in his home in Los Angeles on 3 May 2020. [1]
