John Paragon (9 December 19543 April 2021; age 66) played Thadial Bokar in the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine seventh season episode "Prodigal Daughter".

Paragon played Jambi the Genie and voiced Pterri the Pterodactyl on Pee-wee's Playhouse (which also featured William Marshall) and also starred in various films and television series starring Elvira. He also appeared in Echo Park (1986, with Biff Yeager), UHF (1989, with David Bowe), Honey, I Blew Up the Kid (1992, with Ron Canada, Gregory Sierra, Kenneth Tobey, Keri Russell and Alex Daniels), Going Berserk, Double Trouble (with James Doohan, Corbin Bernsen, and Bill Mumy) and The Rich Man's Wife. Paragon also appeared in the Seinfeld episodes "The Soup Nazi", "The Sponge" and "The Puerto Rican Day".

He passed away at the age of 66 in April 2021. [1]
