Jon Braver is a stuntman, stunt actor, and voice artist who was the stunt double for Tom Hardy in Star Trek Nemesis. He was more recently the stunt double for Faran Tahir and a utility background stunt performer on 2009's Star Trek, under stunt coordinator Joey Box. [1]

Braver has doubled for stars such as Paul Ben-Victor, Chris Hardwick, Joe Pantoliano, Jason Statham, and Adoni Maropis. He is an all around stuntman and his skills includes wire work, stunt driving, gymnastics, and martial arts such as Wu Shu Kung Fu. He is married and lives in Los Angeles.

Braver has performed stunts in television series such as Frasier (starring Kelsey Grammer), Buffy the Vampire Slayer, The Practice (2002, with Gregory Itzin and Bruce McGill), Charmed, Carnivàle (2003, starring Michael John Anderson, Adrienne Barbeau, Clancy Brown, Diane Salinger, and guest starring Frank Collison, Richard Fancy, Robert Knepper, Scott MacDonald, Susan Savage, and Richard Wharton), J.J. Abrams' Alias, Crossing Jordan (2005, with Miguel Ferrer and Rudolf Martin), Threshold (starring Brent Spiner), and in several episodes of 24 (2007, with Megan Gallagher, James Cromwell, Alexander Siddig, Tzi Ma, stunts by Christopher Leps, and stunts coordinated by Jeff Cadiente).

His stunt resume also includes such films as Planet of the Apes (2001, with Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa, Erick Avari, Kevin Grevioux, Eileen Weisinger, David Warner, Michael Jace, Jay Caputo, Todd Babcock, Dragon Dronet, and stunts by Tony Angelotti, Chris Antonucci, Joni Avery, Alex Chansky, Eliza Coleman, Thomas DuPont, Ransom Gates, Leigh Hennessy, Denney Pierce, Austin Priester, Tim Sitarz, Simone Boisseree, Darlene Williams, and Glen Hambly), Showtime (2002, with William Shatner), Daredevil (2003, with stunts by Shauna Duggins), Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World (2003), The Haunted Mansion (2003), Spider-Man 2 (2004, with Kirsten Dunst and Donna Murphy), The Pink Panther (2006), Crank (2006), and The Kingdom (2007, with Kevin Brief).

More recently, Braver was a stunt actor on Paramount Pictures' Stop-Loss and was Rob Corddry's stunt double on Harold & Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay, starring John Cho. He was also actor Faran Tahir's stunt double on the Marvel Comics-based Paramount release Iron Man, which was released in 2008 and featured Bill Smitrovich, Faran Tahir and stunts by Max Daniels, Kevin Derr, Paul Eliopoulos, Jim Halty, and Tim Rigby. Most recently, Braver shot some stunts scenes for Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, working with fellow Trek stuntmen Shane Dixon and Gary Wayton.
