Jonathan Goad (born 20 March 1971; age 54) is an actor who played the Akaali magistrate in the Star Trek: Discovery fourth season episode "The Examples".
He is best known for his recurring role as Christian Doyle in Republic of Doyle between 2010 and 2014, which also featured Shawn Doyle, Scott Grimes, Victor Garber, and Stephen McHattie is recurring roles. He also had a main role in the third and fourth seasons of Reign, which starred Adelaide Kane.
His television guest appearances include episodes of Mutant X, Heartland, Rookie Blue (with Melanie Nicholls-King), Nikita (with Damon Runyan and Danijel Mandic), Murdoch Mysteries, Dark Matter (with Stephanie Belding), and Alias Grace (with David Cronenberg).
