Joseph Bernard (12 December 1923 – 3 April 2006; age 82) was an actor who appeared as Tark in the Star Trek: The Original Series second season episode "Wolf in the Fold". He filmed his scenes between Tuesday 27 June 1967 and Monday 3 July 1967 at Desilu Stage 9 and Stage 10.
He made his feature film debut in Murder, Inc., which also featured Star Trek: The Next Generation guest actor Seymour Cassel. The following year, he co-starred with TOS actor William Shatner (James T. Kirk) in the acclaimed drama Judgment at Nuremberg, which also featured a brief appearance by Rudy Solari. Bernard's other film credits include Ice Station Zebra (1968, with William O'Connell and Lloyd Haynes), TV's The Challenge (1970, with Skip Homeier, Davis Roberts, Byron Morrow, Bill Zuckert, Garry Walberg, and Bill Quinn), The Laughing Policeman (1973, with Anthony Zerbe, Joanna Cassidy, and Gregory Sierra), The Man Who Loved Women (1983, with Denise Crosby), Fever Pitch (1985, with Catherine Hicks), and Mikey (1992, starring Brian Bonsall).
Bernard taught acting at the Lee Strasberg Theatre Insitute in Hollywood, and later opened his own acting school, the Joseph Bernard Acting Studio in Las Vegas.
