Josh Cruze (born 21 March 1960; age 64) is the actor who played Captain Ramirez in the Star Trek: Enterprise second season episode "The Expanse".
One of Cruze's first television appearances was the pilot episode of L.A. Law, co-starring Star Trek: The Next Generation guest actor Corbin Bernsen and Star Trek: First Contact actress Alfre Woodard. The following year, he had a small role in Dragnet, also featuring Christopher Plummer, Bruce Gray, Jimmie F. Skaggs, and Meg Wyllie. He also appeared in Born in East L.A. (with Tony Plana and Noble Willingham) that same year. His subsequent film credits include Fools Rush In (1997), Paulie (1998, with Bill Cobbs and Bruce Davison), and Collateral (2004, with Bruce McGill).
He guest-starred in two episodes of NYPD Blue, starring Gordon Clapp and Sharon Lawrence, one episode of Kate Brasher along with Paul Dooley and Tucker Smallwood, and several episodes of 24, during which he co-starred with the likes of Albert Hall, Penny Johnson, and Glenn Morshower.
He also had roles in the made-for-TV movies The Karen Carpenter Story (1989), directed by Joseph Sargent and co-starring Louise Fletcher, and The Big One (1990), with Ed Begley, Jr., Felecia M. Bell, Richard Herd, and Brock Peters. In 1997, he co-starred with Gary Graham, Eric Pierpoint, and Tim de Zarn in Alien Nation: The Udara Legacy and Steel (1997, featured Charles Napier and Rick Worthy).
