Josh Pais (born 21 June 1958; age 65) is from New York City. He played Quark's cousin Gaila in the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine episodes "Business as Usual" and "The Magnificent Ferengi."

He played Raphael in the 1990 movie Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (with Michelan Sisti, James Saito and Brian Tochi. He was the only actor to wear the costume and also voice his character.

Pais also starred in several popular films, such as Scream 3 (with Beth Toussaint), A Beautiful Mind (with Christopher Plummer) and Phone Booth (with James MacDonald and Dell Yount).

His more recent motion picture credits include Confess (2005), in which e starred with fellow DS9 guest star William Sadler. Also in that year, he starred with Rene Auberjonois' son, Remy Auberjonois, in The Reality Trap.
