Template:Realworld Julia Nickson or Julia Nickson-Soul (born 11 September 1958; age 65) is the actress, who, besides her Star Trek: Deep Space Nine and Star Trek: The Next Generation appearances, is also known for her role as Catherine Sakai on Babylon 5. During the pre-production of Star Trek: The Next Generation, she was considered for the role of Tasha Yar but lost against Denise Crosby. [1]

She is probably best known for co-starring with Pierce Brosnan, Eric Idle and Peter Ustinov in the 1989 television version of Jules Verne's Around the World in Eighty Days, and for appearing with Sylvester Stallone in Rambo: First Blood Part II (with Charles Napier and Steven Berkoff).

She would have become a recurring character on seaQuest 2032 in 1996, however, the show was canceled and she only made one appearance as Lieutenant Commander Heiko Kimura. She was formerly married to TOS guest star David Soul between 1987 and 1993. The couple has one daughter, China Soul.
