K'ruvang's Bird-of-Prey was a Klingon Bird-of-Prey that was in service with the Klingon Empire during the late 24th century. In 2384, this ship was under the command of Doctor K'ruvang, a Klingon scientist and the house geneticist for the Empire. It was stationed on an M-Class planet that was rich in bosonite. Dr. K'ruvang, under orders from Chancellor Martok, used his ship as a laboratory where for many years he researched genetic manipulation and hormonal retroviruses in order to find a way to defeat the ancient Klingon blood enemy, the tribbles. Rok-Tahk thought the lab on the ship was unsanitary, but worked with the Doctor to perfect his research.
The ship played an important role in helping the crew of the USS Protostar to acquire a large deposit of bosonite that was located in the nest of an Omega Tribble. With the help of Rok-Tahk, a retrovirus was developed and deployed that returned the tribbles to normal. Afterwards, K'ruvang was able to return to the empire in his ship with his reputation mostly intact. (PRO: "A Tribble Called Quest")
