At least one member of this species visited Risa in 2152. (ENT: "Two Days and Two Nights")
Other members of this species were present on Quarra in the Delta Quadrant. (VOY: "Workforce")
The name of this species is from the call sheets of "Workforce" where Dieter Hornemann and Amy Kate Connolly are listed as Kaitlen. Lisa Roumain is listed as "Female Kaitlin" on the call sheet of "Two Days and Two Nights".
The Kaitlen share a similar appearance with the Kobliads.
