When Pavel Chekov lunged at Kang, this crewman stopped James T. Kirk from grabbing Chekov. When Chekov was being subjected to a second crewman's agonizer, this crewman and a third crewman held Kirk firm. He was then ordered by Kang to train his weapon on Kirk, as Kirk called up to the USS Enterprise to transport the two groups aboard.
During his transport aboard the Enterprise he was suspended in transit, then disarmed by an security squad upon being re-energized on the transporter pad, before being declared a prisoner of the Federation. He was subsequently detained in the crew lounge, along with the remainder of Kang's crew. After the Beta XII-A entity supplied both crews with weapons with precipitated the initial fight between the two crews, he was among the Klingons who gave chase to Kirk and his security detail while carrying a mace.
Later, he took part in the capture of main engineering, and was tempted to assist Kang during his hand-to-hand combat against Kirk, but was held back by another crewman. When Kirk's reinforcements arrived, he engaged the Enterprise crew during the climatic sword-fight outside main engineering before surrendering on account of the truce declared between both sides. He was later told to move aside by McCoy so that he could assist Chekov. After the Beta XII-A entity supplied both crews with weapons with precipitated the initial fight between the two crews, he led the band of Klingons who gave chase to Kirk and his security detail into the corridor and taunted the Starfleet crew with saying, "Stand and fight, you cowards!", before he stabbed Johnson in the heart.
Later, he took part in the capture of main engineering, where he jumped from the upper level into a sword-fight against the claymore wielding Montgomery Scott, who in turn, temporarily incapacitated this crewman. When engineering was finally captured, he celebrated the victory with the rest of Kang's crew.
When Kang engaged Kirk in hand-to-hand combat, he held back another crewman from joining. When Kirk's reinforcements arrived, he engaged Spock crew during the climatic sword-fight outside main engineering before being quickly subdued by a Vulcan nerve pinch. (TOS: "Day of the Dove")

When Kang discussed the situation of being outnumbered, this crewman quoted the Klingon proverb, "Four thousand throats may be cut in one night by a running man".
He later produced the layout and specifications of the Enterprise for Kang in the auxiliary control center, before questioning what Kang intended to do with an out-of-control Enterprise, if he were to capture it, when the Humans could not already control it.
After main engineering was capture, he escorted Mara to deck 6, where she was to bypass the ship's main life support couplings. However, before they made it to their destination, this crewman was knocked out by the revenge seeking Pavel Chekov. (TOS: "Day of the Dove")
