Kantare was an inhabited planet, the homeworld of the spacefaring Kantare species, in the Kantare system.
This system was located in the Beta Quadrant. The inhabitants had a colony on the planet Kotara Barath as of 2129.

This planet's quadrant of origin is inferred based on the position of its star system as seen in the star chart appearing in the Star Trek: Picard episode "Maps and Legends".
