In 2374, she was referred to in conversation between Harry Kim and an imposter posing as Tom Paris. She was to be their opponent in a holodeck golf rematch. Kim couldn't wait for the rematch, as he felt she "won't know what hit her" this time. (VOY: "Vis à Vis")
In 2384, Kaplan served aboard the USS Dauntless as a security guard. She was listed as on special duty. She was on a security mission to Deck A. (PRO: "Supernova, Part 1")
There were two ensigns named Kaplan on Voyager, Ensign Marie Kaplan having died in 2373.
