Karen Iverson is a makeup artist who worked on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine and Star Trek: Discovery.

For her work she won an Emmy Award in 1995 for Outstanding Individual Achievement in Makeup for a Series for the Deep Space Nine episode "Distant Voices", shared with Michael Westmore, Camille Calvet, Dean Jones, Dean Gates, Scott Wheeler, Michael Key, David Quashnick, Karen Westerfield, Thom Surprenant, and Gilbert A. Mosko. The following years Iverson received four Emmy Award nominations for Outstanding Makeup for a Series for the episodes "The Visitor" (1996 shared with Michael Westmore, Camille Calvet, Dean Jones, Mark Bussan, Scott Wheeler, Gilbert A. Mosko, Ellis Burman, David Quashnick, Thom Surprenant, R. Stephen Weber, Brad Look, and Kevin Haney), "Apocalypse Rising" (1997 shared with Michael Westmore, Camille Calvet, Ellis Burman, R. Stephen Weber, David Quashnick, Dean Jones, Mark Bussan, Brad Look, Belinda Bryant, James MacKinnon, Allan A. Apone, Perri Sorel, Mary Kay Morse, John Maldonado, Lisa Collins, and Karen Westerfield), "Who Mourns for Morn?" Prior to Deep Space Nine, Iverson worked as makeup artists and hair stylist on Harley Davidson and the Marlboro Man (1991, with Perri Sorel), Eerie, Indiana (1991-1992, with Camille Calvet, Laura Connolly, and R. Christopher Biggs) and The Edge (1992-1993), Doorways (1993, with Camille Calvet and Laura Connolly), Lake Consequence (1993), and the thriller Almost Dead (1994).

After Deep Space Nine wrapped, Iverson worked as makeup artist on the fantasy film How the Grinch Stole Christmas (2000), Planet of the Apes (2001, as makeup artist for Michael Clarke Duncan), the family film The Cat in the Hat (2003), Serenity (2005, with Camille Calvet, Mark Garbarino, Christopher Allen Nelson, and Ron Pipes), and CSI: Miami (2003), The Inside, Six Feet Under (2005), The Shield, and CSI: New York (2008).
