Kate Kuhlkin (17 August 194610 March 2021; age 74) was an actress who appeared as an Akaali citizen in the Star Trek: Enterprise first season episode "Civilization". As a background actress she received no credit for this appearance and was identified by the call sheets of the episode.

Patricia Lynne Kuhlkin began her career in the motion picture industry during the late 1960s as a production assistant on the series Music Scene (1969-1970; including an episode with Larry A. Hankin) and Playboy After Dark (1970). Patricia later worked at ABC's Prospect Studios during the 1970s and 1980s, where at one point, she held the title of Regional VP for the National Association of Broadcast Employed and Technicians. By the late 1980s she was a member of the sound department on the soap opera General Hospital (1989-1990; including an episode featuring actor Scott Thompson Baker) where, in 1991, she was among the crew nominated for the Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Achievement in Live and Tape Sound Mixing and Sound Effects for a Drama Series. Kuhlkin later joined the Screen Actors Guild and the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences. [1]
