Keedera was a renowned late-24th century Klingon opera composer on Qo'noS.
While incarcerated in Dominion Internment Camp 371, Martok proposed seeking out Keedera after their escape and telling him the glorious tale of Worf's combat with the Jem'Hadar, such as that he would write a song worthy of Worf. Martok even thought to mention Julian Bashir: "the healer who bound the warrior's wounds, so he could fight again". When Worf noted that the only part of the song he wanted to hear at the present was the part that told of their escape, Garak- who had recently suffered an attack of claustrophobia while attempting to program equipment in a narrow side-tunnel to send a signal to their runabout- volunteered to resume their original escape plan, reflecting that "a verse about the Cardassian who panicked in the face of fear would ruin General Martok's song". (DS9: "By Inferno's Light")
This character was only mentioned in dialogue.
Keedera's name was included as a possible name for a baby girl in The Complete Idiot's Guide to 30,000 Baby Names and The Complete Idiot's Guide to 40,000 Baby Names.
According to the script, this Klingon's name was pronounced as "KEE-der-a". [1]
