Kevin M. Brophy (born 1 November 1953; age 70) is an actor who played a Bajoran security deputy in the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine second season episode "Necessary Evil". As an extra, he received no credit for his appearance. It's his only uncredited acting role.

Born in Salt Lake City, Utah, Brophy is perhaps best known for his portrayal of Lucan in the short-lived television series Lucan between 1977 and 1978. This appearance was followed by guest roles in the television series The Hardy Boys/Nancy Drew Mysteries (1978, with Kevin Tighe), M*A*S*H (1979, with regular David Ogden Stiers), The Yeagers (1980, with Gregg Henry), The Love Boat (1982, with Ben Vereen), and three episodes of Trapper John, M.D. (1981-1983, with regular Madge Sinclair, and guest star James Read in the latter one).

Among his film experiences are roles in western The Long Riders (1980, with Keith Carradine and Nicholas Guest), the television drama Trouble in High Timber Country (1980, with James Sloyan, James B. Sikking, and Ian Wolfe), the horror thriller Hell Night (1981, with Ron Gans), the thriller The Seduction (1982, with Joanne Linville), and the science fiction horror film Time Walker (1982, with Antoinette Bower).

Further television credits of Brophy include the series Matt Houston (1983 and 1984, with R.J. Williams, Gary Lockwood, Stefan Gierasch, Andrew Prine, and Rod Loomis), Partners in Crime (1984, with Richard Lynch), Finders of Lost Love (1985, with Samantha Eggar and Gary Lockwood), Growing Pains (1989, with Kenneth Tigar), Just the Ten of Us (1990), Zorro (1992, starring Duncan Regehr and Henry Darrow), Civil Wars (1992, with Jenette Goldstein, Jennifer Hetrick, Barry Kivel, Sharon Lawrence, Kenneth Mars, and George D. Wallace), and JAG (1996, with Rosemary Forsyth and Conor O'Farrell).
