Kevin J. [James] Anderson (born 27 March 1962; age 58), originally from Racine, Wisconsin, is a Star Trek author and has authored two books in the Star Trek universe with his wife, Rebecca Moesta:

He is probably best known for his work on the Dune prequel novels with Brian Herbert (son of Frank Herbert, who created the series). He has also written novels on various other science fiction franchises including Predator and The X-Files, but some of his most prolific work is in the Star Wars universe. He has also written novels on his own subject matter, such as Climbing Olympus and Blindfold.
