Kiley Local was a large spatial region in the Alpha Quadrant. This sector was named after the Kiley system.
By 2259, several worlds in this sector which had become warp-capable had or were in the process of being inducted into the Federation. The worlds were Algol I, Alpha Majoris I, Betazed, Gamma Trianguli VI, Halkan homeworld, Minos Korva, O'Ryan's Planet, Sarpeidon, Scalos, Setlik I, Tagra IV, and Xahea. Along with these worlds, there were additional worlds in the Capella system, Benecia system, Kazar system, and Thalos system which were warp-capable and had or were in the process of being inducted into the Federation.
