Kimberly Broumand (born 6 December 1966; age 57) is an actress who portrayed Madeline in Star Trek and Star Trek Into Darkness. While working under her maiden name Kimberly Arland on the first film, she received credit as Kimberly Broumand for the sequel following her marriage in 2010. A behind the scenes picture of her was used for the 2013 virtual collectible card battle game Star Trek: Rivals for card #8, titled Cadet Kar'dla. Another image was used for card #46, titled Science Officer Madeline.

Broumand was raised and grew up in Minnesota, with artists, singers, musicians, actors, and dancers and followed her path into the entertainment industry. She has trained and studied dance, singing, improv, martial arts and stunts, and acting at a few different studios including Ivana Chubbuck's. Broumand is also an experienced motion graphics artist and editor. As a skilled martial artist and model she has appeared in several magazines and television commercials, print-ads and runway shows. Broumand is also a voice artist and singer and performed in several stage plays and musicals. She now resides in Los Angeles, California.

Among her feature film experiences are the drama Beast (2006), the drama/thriller Paved with Good Intentions (2006, with Ron Canada and Robert Pine), the lead role in the action film Lady Samurai (2007, with Tommy "Tiny" Lister, Jr. and Robert Miano), the science fiction film Battle Planet (2008, with Tara Macken), and the action/science fiction film Repeat Offenders: Jamais Vu (2011, with James Black).

Other appearances include episodes of You're Not the Man I Married (2005), Fat Actress (2005, with Kirstie Alley, Rachael Harris, and Bill Smitrovich), Hell Date (2007, with Andray Johnson), I'm in the Band (2009), and Justified (2010, with Steven Flynn).

More recently, Broumand worked as director and film maker for independent productions and short projects. She also worked as director of photography for a web series in April 2013.
