The Kobheerians were a spacefaring humanoid species. (DS9: "Duet")

The Kobheerians appear to have maintained a relationship with the Cardassians, as Kobheerian freighters were allowed to travel somewhat freely in Cardassian space in the late 2360s and early 2370s, but not without the occasional search. (DS9: "Second Skin")

Some Kobheerians had a lighter shade of skin and hair. (DS9: "Dramatis Personae") Kobheerians shared a resemblance to the Dopterian species – Kobheerians had two large, elongated flat nostrils in the place of a nose, while Dopterians had Ferengi-like noses.

The Kobheerian freighter, Rak-Miunis, docked at Deep Space 9 in 2369. Sisko described it as a "Federation ship" which would indicate that Kobheerians were members of the Federation. (DS9: "Duet")

Benjamin Sisko later disguised himself as a Kobheerian and the USS Defiant as a Kobheerian freighter in order to pass into Cardassian space in 2371. (DS9: "Second Skin")

Background information

According to StarTrek.com, Kobherria was the homeworld of the Kobheerians.

According to Star Trek: Star Charts (p. 46) and Stellar Cartography: The Starfleet Reference Library ("Federation Historical Highlights, 2161-2385"),, there was a star system named Kobheeria, which might possibly be the system of origin for this species, in the Alpha Quadrant. This was a binary system with a pair of A-class stars.
