The coaxial warp ship approaching the Kotaba Expanse
The Kotaba Expanse was a region of space in the Delta Quadrant, corresponding to navigation matrix 1711. It was within reach of the Benthan Guard.
In 2374, after a genome thief known as Steth successfully infiltrated the USS Voyager by posing as Lieutenant Tom Paris, he programmed the helm of his experimental ship, with Paris onboard, to travel to the Kotaba Expanse. Upon arriving in the Expanse, Paris came under attack by two Benthan fighter ships, the crews of which believed Paris to be Steth, and who were attempting to take him into custody for the theft of their prototype. The location of this region in the Delta Quadrant was depicted in the Star Trek: Star Charts on page 89.
